Lorraine Weir, RN, ACC, SWC
Lorraine Weir, certified stress and wellness coach and registered nurse has been passionate about health and wellness for her entire career. She strongly believes that stress has a profound impact on personal and family life as well as work performance and energy capacity. As an avid learner with the belief and longing to live the best life possible, Lorraine helps you seek out answers and develop an understanding of stress.
Lorraine uses interactive learning techniques to help you develop a personal strategy to positively manage stress in your life. Helping you create awareness of your personal “triggers” will empower you to change negative patterns and instead, create a balanced life.
She incorporates her health education and experience, sales facilitation and experiential coaching exercises to assist you in creating a health strategy that brings your life back to life. In a group setting or on an individual basis Lorraine opens the door for learning.
Lorraine is uniquely certified as a stress and wellness coach through the Canadian Institute of Stress. She is also a member of the International Coaches Federation and a certified co-active coach through the Coaches Training Institute. Prior to being a wellness coach, Lorraine worked as a registered nurse and sales-representative of medical and pharmaceutical supplies. She has also completed numerous courses on group and individual coaching.
Lorraine’s active life includes running half marathons, exploring good wine and food, and being a mother to her teenage sons.
She is currently in training for her first triathlon in 2012.
